select the correct option
(a)a single external force acting on a particle necessarily changes its momentum and ke
(b)a single external force acting on a particle necessarily changes its momentum
(c)Work-energy theorem is valid for types of forces internal,external,conservative,non-conservative
(d)ke of a system can be increased  without applying e3xternal force on the system

K.E CANNOT BE CHANGED WITHOUT GIVING ANY EXTERNAL FORCE. BECAUSE VELOCITY CANNOT CHANGE WITHOUT A FORCE. HENCE D IS WRONG. PROVIDING AN EXTERNAL FORCE CHANGES ITS VELOCITY AND SO K.E AND MOMENTUM BOTH NECESSARY CHANGES. A IS CORRECT. PLZ CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG. I AM JUST TYPING WHAT IS IN MY MIND.

I LIKE HARRY POTTER BOOKS, GAMES, MOVIES, THEMES, WALLPAPERS, ANIMATIONS ETC. I HAVE COMPLETED READING ALL POTTER BOOKS, GAMES AND SEEN ALL THE MOVIES AND I OWN THE SAME.

I AM A BIG FAN IF J.K.ROWLING AND WARNER BROTHERS.

b & c
it cannot be a
for e.g. in uniform circular motion force is acting but change in ke is zero.it cannot be d as if there is chnge in ke there would be some work done acc.to work energy theorem

work energy thm is valid in all cases...
if force is acting the vel will change, whether in dir or magnitude, but k.e. depends only on d magnitude.......
hence b),c)
