erth recives solar enrgy at rate 2cal-cm2 .assuming it to be perfect blackbody radiation find the surface temp of sun which has angular diameter =32 minute of arc

Using Parallax Method get the Radius of the sun-earth orbit,(it is easily possible) provided you have trigonomtry tables.Then,assume that the sun radiates energy at 2 cal/cm2 around this whole sphere of the Earth's radial orbit with surface area of 4*pi*r*r where r is radius of sun-Earth orbit.Total Energy=2c cal/cm2*surface area and then use Stefan's law to find final answer
