A compound with the molecular formula C4H6 does not exist in cis or trans form.
it does not produce a ppt with ammoniacal AgNO3 solution.
The compound as such is optically inactive but a mono halogen
derivative can b optically active. the compound is _______

ya it will be 2 butyne bcoz only terminal double bonded alkynes respond to ammonical Ag nitrate test '


and it is optically inactive as it is a symmetrical compound hence the ans is correct

2-butyne is wrong. No mono halogen derivative is optically active. So answer is cyclobutene.
