ramkumar ................. if they will open 3 new IIT's this year then again 50% will b going to the SC and ST ..... so again the same ramayan ...
btw .... i will request the government to certify that i am a SC or ST .. :)

see friends the final verdict is of whopping 500 pages !  (~) something positive here is (i heard on some nwz channel frm Mr khera ) that the difference between merit of gen and obc canddate should not exceed 10 % ? so if it is, than how many you think will qualify? (ie. frm OBC) ? @ramkumar_november how can this be possible ?they cant do it ! they should not not do it they must not do it

protests are of no use. in 2006, there was rather police attack on the doctors who protested. when that Mandal Commisiion was introduced, many burnt themselves alive, but still no effect on the minds of those vote-hungry politicians.

could someone plz clarify if this reservation is also for the NITs. if so, how will the tackle the state quota and the OBC quota? will it be something like 25% for state OBC ppl and another 25% for state general category ppl..........?

We goiitians should start a signature campaign against this. Even if it leads 2 contempt of court! We can't just sit here and do nothing. We can't tolerate this INJUSTICE. I suggest we do something so that IIT seletion is on MERIT only, and NOTHING else.
