Dear friends and experts a confession to make iit after 1 more days i ma not confidence on maths as i am primarily a student preparing for medical bt also had been preparring maths any i have recently come to know that in iit unlike othe exams average are not taken they take sepparate subjct meritlist i ma fully confident on my phy & chem preparation bt i am weak in difficult iit level maths so can any one tell me how mch percentage will i have to score in maths to be eligible to get through those who had given jee last year are most welcome Rates as usual are assured please help me so that i can crosscheck myself

dear ananth each subject merit list are taken na so if i get less marks in math will they select me
jst tell me dear how mch % in maths i will have to get

u ll be surprised to know last yrs cutoff in each subj.....well as for the % no one can predict......it depends on the students itself,...their performance. and all tht.....

Thats the cutoff dude...i mean if u get P-120 C-120 M-2,then u are not selected for the ranking or something as u havent cleared the cutoff for math even though u may have topped P and C
|

will i tell u one thing i got 73 in chem 69 in phy , 3 maths and was not given any rank if i wld have got atleast 4 in maths then i wld have ebeen selected for counselling

rakesh u were not given a rank because u did not clear the aggregate cut off
it is the total of all of ur marks
in 2007 the aggregate cut was 206
any student getting more than these marks was available for ranking procedure
