i had heard from my friend that all the ques of 3d and vectors,and conics can be easily solved by substituting values given in anser i am very bad in these topics can you guys plz tell tell me some ques. which are solved this way,plzzzzzz every anser will be appreciatted with a salute

see this approach does not work in iit ques., remember the iit prof. are far more clever than us...
and btw, there is no shortcut to success

Doesn't always work. Substitute values of options into the equations. If the equation is satisfied, that is most likely the answer.

djdylan2000 is right...........that it doesn't always work.first u have to clear ur concepts,,,,...u have to learn basics of 3-d,in vectors-dot product,cross product,etc.then u can solve problems,,but basics r must.....

yes , iitjee is a test of intelligence ..not smartness..and the people who set the papers are really smart themselves, so scoring on questions which you don't know fully would be tough..!!
