I am student of class 12.My preparations within my 11 and 12 have not been satisfactory due to a lot of family problems. So i have decided to drop a year. I believe in myself and i know i have the potential to conquer the impossible. But i have heard that some campus are not allowing the students who were seated for two years for preparation. Rumours are on air that this may take the form for one-year gap and the this very news is troubling me.For some days i have not been able to concentrate due to this the issue. PLEASE GIVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS ALONG WITH THE APPROPRIATE INFORMATION. i will be a lot grateful.

I mean that i have just appeared my class 12 exams.I want to clarify that is it risky to drop a year because there are rumours that the companies may not allow droppers (1 year) to take the written tests. It has become a norm that students who were seated for two years are not being allowed to take tests. So i am afraid it may extend for one year gap.I hope i could clarify you and also hope for an early reply.

hey ! dont worry ! as far as know, as puneet sir says u r perfectly allowed...u know even a good number of iit seats are filled by students who had taken a drop right ... i can't see them not ending up with jobs simply because they had dropped a year !! and i am sure it is the same case with all other institutes... it just depends on your scores ...just try to concentrate on your studies k.. cheers !
