A solution containg ethyl alcohol and propyl alcohol gas a vapour pressure of 290 mm at 30 degree celcius .Find the vapour pressure of pure ethyl alcohol if its mole fraction in the solution is 0.65.The vapour pressurte of propyl alcohol is 210 mm at the same temperature.

Mole Fraction of Propyl Alcohol=1-0.65=0.35
290=Petal*0.65+210*0.35 (etal=ethyl alcohol)
Solve it &u'll get the ans.
