Q.I need a method/solution/shortcut to find out the individual line equations of 12x2-20xy+7y2=0.

12xsq - 14xy - 6xy+7ysq =0 2x[6x- 7y] -y[6x-7y] = 0 thus two equations are 2x-y = 0 and 6x- 7y= 0 Dats d only method I know

Write the exp. as 12x2-14xy-6xy+7y2=0 =>(2x-y)(6x-7y)=0. These are the reqd. lines.
