rank would be arond 6000 and you will get anything above mech except cs , ece ..

but this is just my own view abt your rank dont take it to be eactly correct and dont loosen your aieee prep...

my score is arnd 65will u tell me which rank and branch can i expect. moreover my friends r saying that the paper was tougher than last year and so the expecting marks 4 the last rank would be arnd 50 acc 2 some of my friends and teachers

se guys last year vit counslling was way before aieee and iit-jee counsllings so very few people attended it but i dont know the schedule of this years counslling . if it is before aieee and iit counslling then all my predictions will be good and if it is not then stop depending on my predictions..

my advise would be to all of you to prepare hard for aieee because vit should be kept as the last option.

hey dude....its so nice of you to help all of us.......i just want to ask you.....that i am getting 78...that means my rank accdng to you should be arond 7000...which should fetch me at least mechanical.....what iam asking is that will i get a seat on merit or will i have to shed a few lakhs. if yes ...then how much.....please dude help....

See according to last year the counslling was closed at 11,000 , which means the last seat was filled at 11,000 rank with the normal fee (non nri quata) and the guy enetring vit at 11,000 rank gave the usual normal fee. But after 20 days after the counslling was over many of my friends who went to vit in the 3rd counslling but couldnt get the branch of their choice received call from vit people that they have vacant seat of their choice and could come and join vit.

All this which i have mentioned so far is for NON NRI quata... Which means based on your merit with normal fee.

i hope you dont have any confusion now...

you talked about the NRI quota,can an indian student having passed his+2 from india only ,get through VIT with the NRI quota?
