Due to gravitons.

This question is too fundamental to be answered. May be the only answer that i can give about it is that no one has seen repelling gravitational force.

this point is the so mentioned drawback of newton's inverse square law and this concept of gravitation.
as said by others,it might even be due to the gravitons which enable attraction b/w the particles
newton actually was unable to support his concept that grav. force is n attractive force.

It doesn't work to leap a twenty-foot chasm in two ten-foot jumps.

There are three kinds of people; those that make things happen, those that watch things happen and those who don't know what's happening.

earth acts as an atom, which consists of a nucleus at its center. As an nucleus exerts an attractive force towards electrons present in an atom, similarly the earth also always exerts an attractive force on the bodies present inside the earths atmosphere. This is the law of nature
and this attractive force is named as gravitational force of the earth

GRAVITATION FORCE IS DEPANDS ON THE MASS AND THE DISTENCES BETWEEN TWO BODIES.AND EVERY BODY MUST HAS LESS OR MORE FREE ELECTRONES.WHEN BODY MORE BIG IN IT NUMBERS OF FREE ELECTRONS AND POZITRONS INCREASES.THEY ATTRACTE EACH OTHER.SO EVERY BODY IF IT IS SMALL OR BIG ATTRACTE OTHER BODY. WE CALLS IT GRAVITATION.

HERE IS WHAT I THINK....

CHARGES ARE OF TWO TYPES...POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE...TWO POSSIBILITIES..ATTRACTIVE AND REPULSIVE,,,THOUGH THIS IS ALL CONVENTION...WE DON`T KNOW WHAT IT IS..IT IS TOO FUNDAMENTAL..
GRAVITATIONAL FORCE DEPENDS ON MASS AND IT IS OF ONLY ONE TYPE...NO TWO TYPES AS FAR AS WE KNOW..ONLY ONE POSSIBILITY WHICH WE DON`T KNOW WHY IS ATTRACTIVE..

look the basic fundamental laws of physics have no reason ...in other words the laws are just framed out of mere observatins..and from these framed laws we use them to predict future outcomes of experiments.... so there is no reason why protons repel protons or electrons attract protons or why gravitatinal force is attractive...
