1?A small object is to be projected in the space from a launching station from a launching station .The velocity to be imparted to the object by the launching mechanism so that the object may escape the earth is independent of ?
1.)  Size of the object.
2.)  Mass of the object.
3.)  Latitude of the launching station.
4.)  Direction of projection.
AND WHY????

assuming that air has no viscosity and that the object is small

answers are 1 and 2

escape velocity = (2gR)^(0.5)

it depends on latitude because g varies at different latitudes

it also depends on direction of projection as the vertical component of velocity must be (2gR)^(0.5)

The Answer Is (A)&(B)
because the escape velocity of that object is found  like this for the object which is escapes from the earth

1/2mv^2=GMem/Re
v=root 2GMe/Re         here Me=mass of earth
                                         Re=redius of earth
                                         v=escape velocity of an object

thus it depads on the mass & redius of earth

does not depands on the size or

mass of an object

The ans is (A), (B), and (D).
I totally agree with all the answers written above.
But, the escape velocity is also independent of the direction of launching.
As the direction is not a part of the expression for the escape velocity.
Any objections will be acknowledged.

@thevyzz, the escape velocity is also independent of the direction of projection.
so, include option D.
