Hey guys !

I appeared for AIEEE 2008 and thought of writing an article expressing my views about the paper. Well, to begin with, the paper this year was certainly difficult than last year's. Most shocking was the cahnge in pattern. Lesser no. of questions, assertion-reason type ques, passages, i mean for a moment it looked as if i was giving the IITJEE again !

Now, talking about the questions, the level was ok. Chemistry was the easiest, followed by physics and maths.

There were many questions based on reasoning in chem mainly from inorganic that were a little confusing for me.Numericals were directly based on formulas and organic was ok too.

In maths,  there were some unexpected ques, like from the chapter mathematical modelling, 2 or 3 ques came. Chapters like this r always left by students.Assertion reasons here were tricky and rest all was ok.

Left physics, it was average too. Lst yr, there was no que frm fluids, and this yr, they compensated by giving 3 ques.Rest all was fine.

on the whole, i would say that AIEEE 2008 was an average paper. I am not sure what the cut offs r gonna be !
