Q 1 is not clear

q2 Ans => x is an Integer.

$\sqrt{log (cos (2 \pi x))}\\=>cos(2 \pi x) \ge 1\\=> 2\pi x = 2n\pi\\=> x = n$

Here n is an Integer

For b)the domain is $(2n\pi\ -\pi/2,2n\pi\ +\pi/2)$

for 2nd question, its defined only when log (cos 2pix) > 0

=> cos 2pix >= 1

=> cos 2pix = 1

=> 2pix = even multiple of pi

=> x is an integer....
