Got it. The length of the day will decrease
Consider the present day situation. Two similar cars are going on their respective left sides. Consider an imaginary globe and that latitude 'Y' divides GBR into half.( For simplicity assume that cars are moving only in West-East and East-West directions). The East-West cas move below the latitude Y and West-East cas move above the latitude 'Y'.
Both their velocities are equal
Let's calculate the angular momentum about the axis of rotation of the earth
Ang Momentum = mvr
Ang Momemtum of car moving East-West = mvr1 ( where r1 is the radius of the circular path along which the car is travelling)
Ang Momemtum of car moving West-East = mvr2
Clearly, r1>r2
So, net angular momentum is in the direction East-West
If the laws are changed, the net angular momentum will be in the direction West-East.
As per the law of conservation of angular momentum, the Earth will rotate faster in the direction East-West.
As the earth rotates faster, the days will be shorter

EAST WEST COMPONENT OF TRAFFIC MOMENTUM WILL BE MORE TAKE EARTHS EAST WEST ROTATION INTO CONSIDERATION
Going by my explanation, the angular momentum in the east-west direction decreases opposing what you have said. Where am I wrong?

YOU ARE RIGHT SINHA IN SAYING THAT DAY WOULD BE LONGER.
IT CAN BE EXPLAINED ON THE BASIS OF CONSERVATION OF ANGULAR MOMENTUM THE CONSEQUENCE OF WHICH IS SLOWING DOWN OF EARTH'S ROTATION OFCOURSE VERY INSIGNIFICANTLY THAT CAN NOT BE MEASURED.
