Boss wohi to baat hai,
We can let them come to our home and check our marks acc to solutions by coachings. I wud do anything.
Read my RTI post, I just want VIT to disclose our marks. We can atleast claim ki we hav same marks.
Aage kya karna hai, newspapers waale khud dekh lenge.
and goiit kab kaam aayega.
SUch a nice public portal, too many replies against VIT. I think we can do ths.

i think we should catch journalist of national news paper rather than going for regional!

See more important than getting or not getting a seat is the mental agony students are being put through. Most entrance exams only give ranks up to a certain limit and then stop. Giving out (bogus) ranks like 60000 or 120000 is humiliating and could deter those who have other exams (like BITS) coming up.

Procedure for Request of Information
What is the Application Procedure for requesting information?
What is the time limit to get the information?
What is the fee?
What could be the ground for rejection?
1. What is the Application Procedure for requesting information?
Apply in writing or through electronic means in English or Hindi or in the official language of the area, to the PIO, specifying the particulars of the information sought for.
Reason for seeking information are not required to be given;
Pay fees as may be prescribed (if not belonging to the below poverty line category).
2. What is the time limit to get the information?
30 days from the date of application
48 hours for information concerning the life and liberty of a person
5 days shall be added to the above response time, in case the application for information is given to Assistant Public Information Officer.
If the interests of a third party are involved then time limit will be 40 days (maximum period + time given to the party to make representation).
Failure to provide information within the specified period is a deemed refusal.
3. What is the fee?
Application fees to be prescribed which must be reasonable.
If further fees are required, then the same must be intimated in writing with calculation details of how the figure was arrived at;
Applicant can seek review of the decision on fees charged by the PIO by applying to the appropriate Appellate Authority;
No fees will be charged from people living below the poverty line
Applicant must be provided information free of cost if the PIO fails to comply with the prescribed time limit.
4. What could be the ground for rejection?
If it is covered by exemption from disclosure. (S.8)
If it infringes copyright of any person other than the State. (S.9)

I have a freind in VIT , he says that there is a guy named Dr.E.James Jebaseelan
Samuel, he says he is a very helpful person and will reply to all the queries at
admission@vit.ac.in
(got this ID from the VIT website)...i think we should write to him first with a CC to other people(like the editor of TOI or HT)...any suggestions...?

hey guys on what ground we should write the application
i mean vit didn't provide us our marks
merely saying wouldn't do the job
we should hav some solid proof ???

All my friends.
I will like to say that even I think so too.I want to know my marks too.
Lets see if what is mentioned above about 50000/- fetching you AIR<100
is true or not 
I am all there with strong support @tarin 
I will ask other experts and Admin to look into this matter too.
Great thinking Tarin thats what we shall be using goiit as.

proof.....its a very gud point but dont u think we should just give it a try, lets not ask them about OUR marks, lets ask them abt rank w.r.t. marks maybe that ll make everything clearer, and we can also ask them 4 a key to the paper...

If ANYBODY here thinks that he/she has a v.good english conversing abilities , please write to VIT, just ask for the key and/or RAnk v/s marks explaination, and send a cc to as many ppl as possible (mine is savio_chopra1@yahoo.com)
