Cant understand these guys...
they say that all their faculty is from FIITJEE. So does FIITJEE have no faculty left anymore?
Their batch sizes vary from 45 to 75.
Their fees vary from 25k to 100k. Depends on who negotiates what
Everybody gets salary in cash. As is they have pile sof cash getting laundered.
Everybody in the center is selling.Entrance test is a sham. Everybody is offered admission and scholarship
Now they have added CBSE as part of sales but the teachers refuse to teach CBSE.
Why cant students and parents see this?
I believe a lot of people are still joining. Is it the power of sales and marketing?

I'd disagree.
Narayana Kalu Sarai and Punjabi Bagh are quite good. They offer a lot of scholarships (I myself got 70% off).
They are a bit disorganized when I was there (2004-2006) , but they were just setting up. They had poached the best teachers from FIITJEE and they taught quite well.
Of course the downside was that course material was a bit hastily made and had a lot of mistakes and there was a lot of construction going on at that time
But things must have settled down by now.

Ok. According to you, the content is not good, they are disorganized and they were selling cheap. After so many things, what else do you need for a coaching setup to be bad. You are assuming that things would have settled down. What would the best teachers do when the system is so faulty?

Well because the teachers were really good. They had a lot of experience and could answer doubts well. There was a general lack of discipline but my teachers were strict and gave me personal attn.
As for course material , it was hastily made , basically based on FIITJEE's material. But the Narayana Corresp material is excellent(I had seen a prototype in 2005 , though I never subscribed it).
FIITJEE does have good faculty but there's no denying that Narayana took the best of them.
When Narayana started in Feb 2004 and when the teachers left FIITJEE , a lot students from the affected FIITJEE batches also came to Narayana. They had to pay just 2000Rs. !! and continued their coaching in Narayana
In fact AIR 2 of 2004 , Priya Gupta also came to Narayana(I met her during the party in the lobby , celebrating the results).
I agree that they aren't "exclusive" and take pretty much everyone. But they have a batch system based on performance and if you are in the top batch , you'll have very smart friends.

So why are you defending Narayana? I am also saying exactly what you are saying. You agree that it is disorganized. the problem is that we are used to taking a lot of nonsense. Our "chalta hai" attitude lets such mediocre setups thrive. You need to get more demanding and ask for world class quality and service. As per you only, Narayana was an out and out commercial setup. It is not even to the quality standards achieved by the most mediocre education setups in India.

Arey relax.I am not defending Narayana for its shortcomings , but the Sirs who taught me were excellent and I owe a lot to them.
If Narayana is still the way it is , thats bad.
So what about you , which Coaching Insti do you study in?

I do not study anywhere.
I have just been told that I am trying to promote a coaching institute here.
Anyway, I agree that Narayana faculty was one of the best.
If you had a personal relationship with them, you would have benefited. I was talking about their weak systems, which you corroborated.
Also, due to the lack of systems, I believe that everybody would have had a different experience.
Without systems, it is not possible to have standard experience across students.

Looks like there are no students from Narayana in here.
Otherwise I would like to see some positive remarks coming out about them.
Is there nobody else ready to say good things about Narayana?
