for ques 36 the middle wall is weakly conducting///thus after a long time the temp of both the parts will b equal the final pos of the seperating wall be at a distance x from the left end. so, it is at a distance 30-x from the right end putting combined gas equation of one side of the seperating wall P1V1/T1=P2V2/T2 =>P * 20A/400=P' * xA/T............1
P * 10A/100=P' * (30A-x)A/T......2
using 1 and 2 (p * 20A * 100)/(400 * P * 10A)= P' * xA/(TP'(30-x)A
1/2=x/30-x 30-x=2x x=10cm the seperator will be at a distance 10 cm from the left end... please rate if correct...
