Iodoform test.. NaOI or NaOH + I2
2 pentanone gives yellow ppt.. 3 pentanone does not

since iodoform test has been given still there is one more for
(A) 2-pentanone and 3-pentanone(B)
the carbonyl comp react wid nahso3
and form alpha hydrogen sulphonate a white crystall solid
this rexn depends on steric factors and thus it is given by all aldehydes and methyl ketones only(as in A)

the ans is iodoform test...the funda behind this is the presence of alpha methyl ketonic group...in case of  2-pentanone alpha methyl ketonic group is present whereas in 3-pentanone its not...therefore iodoform test is given by 2-pentanone in which yellow ppt of iodoform w'll form.
