i have 6 as c and then solved the discriminant and got c as 13/2,thought of the curve to be a hyperbola and tried to solve assymptotes

this comes out to be
=60 +63 - 45 - 49/2 - 54
=123 - 99 - 24.5
=24 - 24.5 =-0.5
not equal to zero ..
now find ..h^2 -ab = 9 -10 =-1
its an ellipse ..
now u know in which form it is convertable.. so find the eqn of ellipse and thus its area ...
or shud i ....

shouldn't the area be 10 pie ..cuz its an ellipse with centre ( 4/7 , - 89 / 42 ) ...as the determinant is not equal to zero and ab - h (sq) > 0 .
