yes ,but only if u really utilise ur time very very effectively.         get ur iit syllabus n level covered atmost till november.            side by side give 1/2 hrs every day 4 ur board exm               .in last 3 months revise thoroughy.     n remember in such 1 prob is that u dont get enough time 4 much practise.            so frm now onward not only go ahed covering ur syllabus but keep revising ur covered chapters .        now stick 2 1 book n hv mastering over it.               also join test series brillint give very precise marks as u ll get in iit.              improve ur accuracy n speed        . try 2 develop  ur own shortcuts.                   calculate mentally dats inc speed.             cover imp chapter like coordinate, vec, early.        4 organic get ur concept really clear n practise much           .physical -practise n practise.physics -HCV is helpful.            n MOST IMP.        HAVE BELIEF IN U.      THAT U CAN DO IT.               i was in ur same condition .            i read only 4 5 months 4 iit.             vithout ne coaching.     only thing was i didnt had confidence.            n so i ll suggest do hv confidence in u .        prepre a plan ,stick 2 it , every month analyse ur progress n keep improving.                n yaa if u r startng now initially u ll problem but d rule us KEEP MOTIVATING N INSPIRING URSELF. ALL THE VERY BEST

No ra..it's not possible!!

Don't think iam demotivating you.......preparation for iit requires extreme hard work and commitment for 4 years...ie right from ur 9th and 10th..then 11,12.Those who have a strong foundation in 9th and 10th only can excel in theit 11th and12th iit prep and get qualified...Most of us start prep from 11th with cbse board ...and with too many dont make...and i ur case with sateboard it makes it almost impossible..concentrating on this idea may spoil ur prep for boards and at the end u may end up getting nuting...iam not harsh or discouraging ....but its the fact ..study well in ur boards and try to get top marks and u can get into anna univ, psg tech etc...

if ur still interested then u may prepare for aieee .....get both 11th and 12th physics chem cbse books and read and try to understand the concepts well....join a par time aieee coaching and u may qualify aieee.but my best advice is u concentrate a lot in ur boards.

Yes, it highly possible. Just make sure you study well with the postal course, solve its assignments, and give all tests. Keep working daily and the hard work is bound to pay off.

Well I'm pretty much in the same boat as you....in CBSE though..

first year, did self study..

second year, am taking correspondence...

Its really tough, around 12 chapters a month, but I think with enough dedication it can be done..

Seeing everyone around me going for coaching since 11th, i get demotivated at times, then I realise that there isn't any point comparing yourself with others.

Just give it all that you have and get ready to slog it out!!

Best of luck!!!

No need for that postal course too.....
Just take some very good books..... not more than two per subject..
Don't study for more than 8 hours a day
Play or get some physical exercise for atleast an hour a day
sleep for atleast 6 1/2 hours a day
Have a proper diet

YOU'D FIND YOURSELF IN SOME IIT ABOUT AN YEAR AND 3 MONTHS FROM NOW

I never knew about IITs till I completed my tenth..... the next year, We played cricket whenever we got time to... and it was only during the last 8-9 months that I did some good work..... and I've ended up with about 330 in the JEE 08......
It all depends on your mindset.... not on the hours you consume....

And one more imp point I have to make.....
'In the End, it doesn't even matter'
all that matters is your performance during those 6 hours of exam.....
You need to carry on your confidence from this day till the exam... nothing else could be helped
I suggest that you stop asking such questions, just get started....
Make your own decisions...... so that.... at the end of the day, if there's someone who takes the blame for your position, it shall be you, if you're in a very good position, you must deserve the credit, not some counsellor.......

I've read about 'planning' and have heard that many a time
Not that I want to confuse you... but just an advice.....
Don't plan out too much... you'd become more of a machine than a man....
be instinctive and you'll be rewarded...
Just make sure that your instincts don't give way for unintended activities....
