Have anyone of you appeared for SAT (scholastic aptitude test)? How is it like? Where is it conducted (in India or in US)? I haven't got a credit-card so I have to register by mail. Now, in the SAT website ( www.collegeboard.com ) it is mentioned that for mail registrations, one needs to collect the reg.form from one's 'school-counselor'. I doubt if dere is any such personnel here. If someone has procured the registration form , please tell me from where did you collect it.

P.S.: To anyone studying in MIT: Plz tell me how good is the institute (the technical standards, not the living standards?) And how much does one expect to earn by doing student-jobs (Can the education there be afforded by financial-aids and student-jobs alone)?

It is one of the best if not the best institute in the world dozens of times ahead of any IIT. SAT is conducted in India as well. The fees for 4 years will be like 60-70 lacs besides you need to go abroad and getting selected needs top class records since begginning of school and not just 2 years. Out of 2000 top class people who apply from india, only 4-5 get selected. Getting selected is like making it to top 10 or 50 in IIT and parameters are a lot different and a lot more complete.
