One night an old man had a dream.He saw that he was walking on a beach along with the God. God was with him throughout the journey,When he saw behind he saw there were 2 sets of footprints trailing them. He also noticed that the whole journey of his actually depicted life lead by him.He saw that the times of happiness,misery,trouble etc all were parts of his journey as were parts of his life.

But he was dissapointed to see that during the times of touble and misery,the sand had only 1 set of foot prints.

He couldn't stop himself from asking the God "Oh my dear God,when i look back through the journey of my life,i see ur footprints along with mine.But during my times of misery and trouble,there is only y set of footprints.Why did u leave me alone when i required ur support?How did u ignored the pain of your own child?

hHearing this,God replied "my dear child, i didn't leave u alone anytime in ur journey through life.The only set of footprints that u see during ur trouble times are mine.It was then that i carried u through those times in my arms!"
