look people last time there was the same problem... many students complained of getting lower marks than expectd but no one went ahead to challenge the cbse people

if ur really sure about your calculated marks go ahead and challenge the result

1) most of the solutions were crap. I didn't check with narayan soln as i saw many wrong answers.

2) in k-cet i had half marked many bubbles. but i got them right. boz in k-cet brochure it is written: "the scanner is so sensitive to black and blue ink shades that even a slight residual ink mark or an unintended ink dot within a circle on the OMR will be taken by it..."

but in aieee brochure it is written: "a light or faintly darkened circle is a wrong method of making and liable to be rejectedby the optical scanner..."

in k-cet we carry home a replica (carbon copy) of OMR ans sheet. and after results scanned OMR sheets are displayed on their website.

in k-cet

omr sheet comprises of two sheets. the top sheet will be used for the purpose of marking correct ans. and later scanning & evaluation and the bottom sheet will be returned to the candidates after the test. the bottom sheet is coated with a special kind of chemical which acts as carbon. when the candidate fill the circles on the top sheet, the pressure on the bottom sheet will automatically create a replica of the top sheet.

Sorry to tell you mate, your K-CET stuff is not solving the problem over here. Make your point clearer. What do you want to say?? A Whole lot of people were careless enough in one of the most important exam in thir life that they probably didn't circle properly with a black pen or missed circling more than half of the paper?? That's why a whole bunch of people got low scores?? I Don't remember seeing anything like this the last year on goiit. There is a problem here and people are coming and telling us to stuff it and accept that we are filth on earth who don't know the difference betweek a 150 and a 15.
