listen tht totally depends on which NIT ur talkin abt.....gettin a gud branch in southern NITs is gonna be tough,but behold u'll get wtvr u want in northen NITs barrin allahabad ofcourse.m frm NIT calicut,so lemme give a rough idea abt my coll.wth tht u can maybe get a mech,but for sure abt civil nd chem nd production
dont wrry tht much dude rite now,just make ur preferences,n fill up d form,k thn best of luck

dont worry u will easily get iiit jabalpur or Kanchipuram or iiit Gwalior so wait for ur counselling i am sure that u will get one of these 3 iiits.

Try LNMIIT Jaipur. LNMIIT is like IIIT Rajasthan, but has been named after Laxmi Mittal (the steel baron), since he gave tonnes of money to start this, and continues to provide lot of support. Rajasthan government is behind the college. And it is a deemed university like all other IIITs.

dont look for any other college i promise u u will get iiit bets of luck dont go for institutes like lnm, jaypee , etc. u cant compare lnm with iiits , nits, daiict. Its not even among the top 100 institutes of india.
@ guptaravi - that might be gud college but if someone is getting iiit or nit dont misguide them 2 go for lnmiit u r being crazy.
