How is IIIT allahabad, Can one get in with AIR 3515
Is the option better than NITs

You can get IIIT-A with 3515. But it is no good comapred to the top NITs. If you like Allahabad, go for MNNIT there. Typically, the reason for good closing rank is that there is an inherent trust in the central government institution, that they will not go below a certain standard, come what may. And that is why even new central govt. institutions (not just new IITs) like IIIT Jabalpur have good closing rank. But you shouldn't just look at last year's closing ranks. Pay a visit to their website. Look at the faculty, the student activities, placements, and so on, and then decide.

Top NITs like Trichi, Warangal etc are out of reach at this rank,so How are other NITs like Bhopal,Nagpur, Kurukhetra etc as compared to IIIT -A.
