no i think it depends upon whether HI is hot or cold

FAILURE IS NOT FALLING IN LIFE BUT NOT RISING AGAIN AFTER FALLING!!!!!!

I LIKE WAVES NOT BECAUSE THEY RISE AND FALL..
BUT BECAUSE EVERYTIME THEY FALL THEY RISE AGAIN!!!!!!!

yes

@above is correct

high polarity favours SN1 and low polarity of solvent favours SN2

Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.

NO. It cant be SN1, it is SN2.

In, ROR' if BOTH R and R' are 1 degree, then SN2 takes place.

For SN1 to take place, we need-
1) HOT HI
2) R or R' shud be 2 or 3 degree.

The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.

well i ud 1 thng........

a number of factors determinf which sort of reaction it ud be....

SN1 or SN2....

1. steric faactor

2. polarity

3. temperature (carbocations are more stable in higher temp.)

4. hyperconjugation...                             ( C+ stability.. see that)

5. conjugation....

6. strenght of nucleophile..

many....

we hve to take many into account.... b4 deciding wat sorta reaction it ud be and also decide wat to gve more prefrence over other depending on situations....

but seeing this reaction it will hve to be SN2...

or else if SN1... CH3- CH2 -I... us hve formed ... as C+ is more stable thre....

but still we hve to see other factors... as nothng is gven it is SN2

Cheers!!!!!!!
