sir,
is there any chance of getting a good course in a good iit? (preferably delhi,bombay,kanpur,kharagpur)
i'm already studying in dce...
what would you advise me to do?...
help.

Join a college. Take a semester drop. You only lose tuition. But your seat remains guaranteed. So if you don't succeed next year, you can still go back to what you got this year.

With this rank you wont get a good stream in IIT but you have a good option : Petroleum in ISM Dhanbad. This branch has good placement prospects and its engineers are highly paid, they get jobs in oil fields.

i wud like to say that u'll get ism dhanbad-petroleum, but is this what u really want. i agree that placements r great, but 3-4 yrs down d line u'll feel this is job isn't d one u wanted or ever dreamt of.don't go by d hype that it being one of d top 10 colleges in india will give a secure future. ultimately wat u want in a job is job satisfaction, n if u don't get it it's a waste.
plz keep this in mind while opting for d course.
