why do we find root mean square velocity.

wht is the use of finding .

does it says anything about the properties of gases.

by having an estimate about the velocity of electrons we will come to know how fast are the collisions occuring.in this way we can determine the rate of a reaction.this is a method out of our syllabus.so don't take any tension.
