I have been asking such kind of questions in the past but not getting any satisfactory replies. So i wish to put this question forward to you so that you can tell from your experience or Knowledge

I have fared badly in my engg exams so i am thinking of dropping. But i wanted to analyse all possible aspects before i drop.

1.

I am interested to pursue my MS and an MBA in a foreign University. So i wanna ask is that even if i join a good (but not THAT good as IITs or NIts or BITS etc) coll in my area then still i can get admission into a good foreign University???If yes then i dun think need arises to drop n try for the glorious engg colleges like IIT( as i dun want to join a job just after My UGcourse)

2.

If i do my engg from not a good coll but i end up doing my MS and MBA from a VERY good coll then still can I be very succesfull in life???

3.

In spite of all of the above if you still a good engg coll is reqd then dropping remains the last choice sin't it??

First of all, it is not easy to get admission to good foreign universities.

Secondly, why do you want to pursue both MBA and MS?

You have to decide what you are capable of. Admissions to foreign universities is as tough as for NITs or IITs.

1)Its not that easy to get admission into foreign univ if you aren't from a reputed college.

2)Yes , if you can do that.

3)Its your call....Maybe dropping will help.

why can"t u ? when my brother - in -law friends went to ausralia for M-TECH , when they completed their B-TECH from a worst engg college>>> from andhra pradesh...they got 78% in b-tech..remember only one thiNG,HARD WORK IN ENGG COLLEGE ( ANY ENGG COLLEGE) FETCHES U WHAT EVER U WANT IN U R LIFE !!!!! . and dont think it will be tough to enter in to foreign university..when u have stuff , (engg subject) u will be the best guy , and u can easily get visa also... dont bother yaar just work HARD, HARDER ,HARDEST !!!!!!

Yes ,the reputed ones.It is not easy to get into them , let alone a scholarship/financial aid .
