my rank in iit was 4222 but i m getting cse in bits pilani ..... considering te fact that the total selected students were 7800 my rank is in the middle.... though its bad i want to know where are the others behind me are taknig... how are the new iits? will they rank better than bits? will they b having the same placements as that of other iits?plzz reply ,....
also what are the avg packages in cse at pilani?

if i wud have been in ur situ i wud prefer cse above all(coz u hav to live whole ur lyf wid d trade u hav).....den i wud have seen d ranking o d colleges i hav in hand:)

avg package for cse in pilani is arnd 6.5 lac p.a.
|
khud hi ko kar buland itna ki khuda bhi tujhse puche ...bol bande , teri raza kya hai |

hmm.. your iit rank will give you a seat in roorkee maybe.. but cse in pilani is better anyday.
take it without thinking any more. cse in pilani is about the same as cse in iit kharagpur or iit maybe madras.

Fill up all the choices that you would study if you get an existing IIT. With dramatic increase in seats u never know when u can get lucky.
If u get a seat of ur choice at IIT well n good. And if you dont BITS CSE is always there.
I personally would not even think of trading CSE Pilani with the NEW IITs
ALLTHE BEST!
