see good or bad is a comparitive thing........so tell us that what r other options wid u? by the way amrita is fairly good coll in south......placements are supeb (my friend did mech engg and got two offers, one in L&T and other in HPCL both above 4.5 lacs)
nit jaipur is a very gud NIT (just after top 3 NIT).......BIT ranchi is a gud coll but a little behind in terms of placements package so i wud say NIT jaipur >amrita>BIT ranchi pls mention the various branches u r getting in these coll to have a clear view
