DONT YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE SIMPLY BIASED ABOUT YOUR OWN COLLEGE......i am not comparing vit with iiit hydrabad or dce..........or nit trichy warangal etc..............i am comparing it daiict.....mate.....look i didnt have below 10000 rank in aieee ......i had 13k rank ...i was getting many nits but not the top 3 .........of course i did not get daiict..........so i joined vit.....now tell me is 13k a loosers rank.......because as far as your opinions are concerned vit is a loosers place.......man i know people with 7k ranks in aieee who joined vit...are they all loosers.........???????????

look man i am no fan of INDIA TODAY.....and i am not judging my college on the basis of some shitty rankings..the thread creator himself brought the issue.......so i just notified him about the facts........and tell me one thing is a ranking supposed to be traditional........how did bits pilani come into notice of the general public......INDIA TODAY  did play an important role there....it was india today first some seven yrs ago which gave bits pilani the third position........ VIt till 2006 was not given a rank in top 25.....i know what my college is and what it offers...........there are areas in which daiict is ahead of us....and there are areas where vit is ahead of daiict........does that make any college a heven like place and another one shit..........

NIT jaipur is poor in faculty, infrastructure

but still it has NIT tag  which itself has brand value

if u reside in northern region   dan u may go for it   if u don't have any better options

See at the end of the day u were biased..........but i wasnt ....i agree with you proudly that i too question the authenticity of india today ranking......i believe they should have switched the places of iIIt hydrabad and vit.......that would have been correct............but the only thing is i havnt visited iiit hydrabad ...so i dont know......

but even if i say that it shuld have been at 23 instead of at 10...then does that make the college a shithole....i dont think so...

India Today ranking has some errors like   not placing BITS pilani in dat list

dan vit at 10th spot        i think if u wanna go for CS,IT or ECE  dan IIIT-H is far better dan NIT, VIT n even BITS Pilani

remember as pilani is consdered in northern region  III-H is considered in southern 

both bits n iiit-hyd r top notch coll. ....n i think its very tuf 2 judge diff. coll...coz ne specific brnch f 1 coll. may /may nt b bttr than dat f othrs....iiits only provide u wid ece n it..n if u hv keen intrst in mech. than u shud  leav evn hyd....
