i was getting comp sci in VIT but i left it at the last moment, now i m regretting my decision badly.
yesterday in thapar i got electrical, hope to get instrumentation in 2nd counselling.
i got 260 rank in my state cet and hope to get electronics or comp sci in a LOCAL COLLEGE
my rank in aieee is 11k and expecting electronics in some NIT
WHAT SHUD I DO , I M DAMN CONFUSED??!!? i don't hav nickels to ask experts...
i m interested in ece or cse..

hi perin with ur rank, u will easily get UIET - ece or cse - in chandigarh. it is a good college affiliated to PU. All d seats are filled through AIR. last date of submitting d form is 23rd june.. so rush to chd along with ur photograph and aieee score card. All d best!

with ur rank ur best bet is PEC or Thapar. You won't get electronics in any NIT other than bottom 2-4 except through state reservation if you have any. Besides, PEC Thapar is going to be better than all but 3 NITs. They are better than VIT too.

u won't get ece or cse in PEC acc. to last year's cutoffs. and same is d case with thapar.. coz these are d most sought after branches and get filled up at very high ranks.

getting Civil isn't a bad option either nowadays. esp Civil from a very good college is better than comp from a college which is not that good, often.

acc to last yr's cutoff i m getting civil or chemical in PEC but i don't want it
if i get electronics in NIT Kurukshetra, is it a good choice to leave instrumentation in THAPAR and comp sci in PUNJABi UNIV. Patiala

i prefer ece or eic or cse (if i get it) pec won't give me this. i can get it only at thapar or nit kurkshetra

my dad says civil demand is increasing but i want only electronics or cse. he says civil in pec is just equal to ece in thapar or nit

you are still getting vit check their site they have called people in second councelling........your best bet is there as u may get maech ,eee and eie.........

and beside future is much more secured with branches such as cse and ece and eee.........civil is a good branch but still cse and electronics are better. go with your interest. take the branch in which you are interested in . It will help u in the long run
