im also goin der cse ..
hostel either 12 or 9 ... theres sum confusion
u ppl got ne idea bout hostel charges .. they wer sayin they r now revised

there are 14 hostel blocks of which only 4-5 blocks are open for freshers
12th block is an AC rooms block, and is more expensive as compared to the non AC ones.
Moreover, since the weather is nice there, AC is not needed :)

dunno man ...
ive hrd its quite humid der .. and theres hardly a diff of 5-7k in the ac and non ac acco
u no nethin about the revised rates
when r we supp to pay for them ...
ive hrd u get a laptop der .. is tht true????

yeah the weather is very humid and sultry.......umbrilla is every pedestrians indisposable tool............but the green cover is huge........the infrastucture at manipal is among the best..........only one problem is the connectivity in road and rail............Everyone admitted into MAHE is provided witha laptop........HP .....AMD .......and unlimited internet access..........

non ac room r for around 48k - 55k..
ac for 88 -95k..
i took k block...
as its a single room...
i also got cs...
its true dat we get a hp laptop plus internet ( wifi) as anath told...

u don't need an A/C room in manipal...as weather is warm but never very hot.......
and yes, we might get HP laptop this year unlike Apple Mac given in last year(shit yaar)..............
and b prepared for enjoying mit............and the BROTHERHOOD is already growing very fast.....KeeP up the SPIRIT

hey r u sure they gave Apple last yr?.......u kiddin?.....it costs around 1lac......i dont think they 'll ever give those.....any way....this year they are not givin Intel core duo,......they are providin us AMD motheboard......as its cheaper than intel....

Want to know abt the college , classes..... or anything else. this is the place to be.. meet people with destination same as urs... and expand the brotherhood .....talk to others...know abt them.......befriend hostelmates even b4 going to the hostels..........so...nudge them all....and let the brotherhood become more brothersome........

me to going to manipal 99%. cs branch. i applied for ac hostel. can we change it now---as most of u said we dont need ac there.
