Electrical has higher cutoffs. However electrical without electronics is a dead branch and Civil esp has very good prospects and (nearly) the highest pay packages.

many ppl (my frnds ,relatives) say many girls don't do civil and in fact there is no girl in mechanical. is it true..

Electrical is different from Electrical and Electronics, For example IIT Electrical is actually electrical and electronics while that in other colleges it is just electrical.
