mine aieee rank is 5246(air) which is the best option... state rank 789...
wht is the new seat matrix of eee.....are there any changes ?

i think u may ge iiit allahabad ,last year closing rank is nearly 4500 but it may fall this year due to new iits n abolishment of state rank in NITs

there shouldn't be too much fall in ranks of IIITs. Last year IT cut off was 3900 and Amethi campus cutoff was around 5900, you might get Amethi campus. You are from rajasthan, right.

dere shud be.......many ups n downs coz many students din appply for onlyn conselling.besides many student going for iits n bits might have enrolled s well........u'll get wat u wish in nits........

There will be a big turn in cutoffs of NITs but not as much as in IIITs or even in private colleges like Thapar for that matter.

This is a misconception among ppl that private insitutes are bad. BITS Pilani competes with IITs. IIIT H, DAIICT are doing so well. Even JIIT and LNMIIT are doing a good job. With this rank one of your best bets will be Thapar or PEC.

Govt colleges are PEC etc. Thapar is a very good choice for you, so is DAIICT. In govt only PEC and NITs.
