But u can start with electricity & magnetism by d c pandey -- this book was referred by waterdemon, an expert of this forum.
Even u can proceed with h c v.
But for god's sake do only one.

to get clear with the theory part read Resneik Halliday book. Then you should do the sums in H C Verma book. That should be suitable to help you.
