if x=0;y=-1 and n is even then also the equation is satissified.so there must be more conditions as i think.OR

there can be two cases 

 (i)if n is even

 (ii)if n is odd. 

hey @ vnkt.swaroop we have to find the generalised x and y for all natural numbers n and not for specialised cases like n is even or n is odd

and for all natural numbers n the ans is correct i think

ok then let us analyse this ques carefully but in the 1st look x,y=1 or 0 came to my mind so i just posted the ans without thinking any other thing.
