this is the NIT rankngs acc to my opinion- i need ur feedback abt it nd do correct me if im wrong...

1. trichy

2. warangal

3. Surathkal

4. allahabad

5. calicut

6. rourkela

After first four i.e. T,W,S,Allahabad, I think NIT Jaipur,Calicut,Nagpur,Rourkela,KKR,Bhopal all are on almost similar ranking, not much difference , so more it depends on where from you belongs to and in some isolated cases may be particular branch in a particular NIT.

KKR== kurukshetra? akshay, r u absolutely abt ur rankings? jaipur is betr than rourkela?? i ve got 2 decide whr i shud go, so its imp.

xavier your rankings are perfectly correct...

but i would place calicut above allahabad and at 6 th position it will be nagpur and not rourkela...nagpur and allahabd are only good and competent nits in central india

AFAIK I am nearly sure with my rankings. However the first 2 are roughly equal and first 3 are more or less equal. After Allahabad, there is not much difference between Bhopal Calicut and Jaipur.

one thing is for sure calicut is better than bhopal and jaipur .........allahabad and calicut are almost equal..and then comes nagpur.........jaipur and bhopal lag behind .

I don't think so, AFAIK Jaipur and Bhopal are better than Calicut. Though I am not fully sure.
