Not heard of RPET and good colleges of IPU are decent and make it to the top 50
|

RPET is much much more valuable than IPU..........
Try for Mechanical in MBM Jdhpur > Government Engineering college Ajmer>RTU kota>JECRC . Mech is good in these in these colleges

Top IP colleges like USIT IGIT BVP MAIT are all in Top 50 engg colleges of india
Decent IP colleges GTBIT MSIT are in Top 100 or at most Top 200
I don't think any RPET college makes it to the Top 50, though I am not sure.

Plz do not rely on these magzines rankings while deciding ur colleges.
These rankings r all crap and fake. Contact some person studying in the college in which u wanna go.........
RPET colleges r affiliated to a government technical university i.e. Rajasthan technical university which make the degree valuable..........
Take some more suggestions....

I am not going by mere magazine rankings but by the rankings I know after spending weeks here. never heard of RPET whereas I know for sure that top IP colleges make it to the Top 50.
How does the best RPET college compare with Manipal, RVCE etc?

see RPET has around hundred colleges in it......of which around 15 r government colleges of Rajasthan....
There was a time when BITS pilani and MNIT jaipur was also affiliated to Rajasthan University but now all colleges have been given affiliation of Rajsasthan technical University.......
Being a government funded University its better than most of the private colleges so its better to take a dgree of a government affiliated university than some private university (with some exceptions..like BITS)

We all know that thing that BITS became a deemed university in 1964.
I have mention there "There was a time" which simply means that now that thing does not exist in present.....

see RPET is not one college. If you are getting into some top government college go for it otherwise go to IP.
