consider d resistance betwn a nd b as r
as itz a infinte loop d resistance for all d others after first loop is considered same as r
thus c 2 R's and one r .. are in series thus their equivalent resistance is (2R+r)
this equivalent resistance is in paralell wid R thus u get
1/r=1/R+1/(2R+r)
solvin this u get a quadratic equation and then solve it for d answer ..........

don't walk as if u rule d world
walk as if u dont care who rules d world
-this is knw as attitude
B who u r and say wat u feel ......
coz those who mind don't matter ........
and those who matter dont mind ......... :)

That is simple
Let Assume consider that the equivalent resistance b/w a and b = Req
Since there are infinite such loops thus consider the first three (3) resistors in combination with rest of the loops i.e. Req
Thus
(Req + R + R) II R= Req
or (Req + 2R ).R/ (Req+ 3R) = Req
solve to get Req

The Scientist does not study nature because it is useful; he studies it because he delights in it, & he delights in it because it is beautiful. If nature were not beautiful, it would not be worth knowing, life would not be worth living. Ofcourse I do not here speak of that beauty that strikes the senses, the beauty of qualities & appearances; not that I undervalue such beauty, far from it, but it has nothing to do with science; I mean that profounder beauty which comes from the harmoniuos order of the parts, & which a pure intelligence can grasp. |

infinite resistance:-
Req=(Req+2R).R/(Req+3R)
resiSTANCE ALONB a nd b = Req
WE GET A QUADRATIC EQUATION LIKE THIS
Req^2+3R.Req-2R^2=0
Req=R( )/2 ANSWER
