Dear goiitians,  i am very confused over this issue and need ur help desperately. 

I live in Delhi,  passed 12th this year and have decided to prepare again for IIT.

 

I got thru VMC(Vidyamandir)  entrance test fr 1 yr 12th passouts regular course , and Brilliant Tutorials are offering me 50% scholarship and the topmost batch.

 

I am confused where to go...........

Here are the pros and cons of both:-

 

VMC -  Pros-  BEST (Takes only 60 students)

         Cons - Classes only 2 days in  a week,  i wonder  if  i will be able to  maintain the seriousness for the rest of the 5 days



 

Brilliant Tutorials- Pros -  Classes 4/5 days a week, so i'll study under pressure anyways.

                      Cons  -  Not as good as VMC

Ignoring the financial aspects, i request u  to please suggest me what shud  i join coz i have to deposit the fee TOMORROW if i  have to join VMC







 Rates will be given to all helpful suggestions

see dude me also dropping for jee-2009

this yr i got selected in many entrances but decided to go for iit next yr again

so i gave the entrance test of fiitjee but then realised that whats the use yaar

i feel that self study will be better for me now started preparation but has to increase the momentum

neways i feel that if u study clearly ur concepts then u can surely clear it

it's not nesscesary to join any coaching

well ur life ur choice

Dude, i also cleared many entrances, but i  think if i sit at home, i wil do the same mistakes i  did in these 2 years while sitting at home, i  wun improve

I'd say take VMC. The competition will help you. Besides, you can do correspondence course from BT too...

this is simple!!!.....if u think staying at home makes u lazy....then its what u want ..........u must join BT...........cuz even if we ignore the financial factor.......2 classes and tht 2 in weekends .........and rest of weekdays off.....may make u go out and spend some time elsewere...........if constant studying u want u should join BT........cuz more or less u get the weekend off and u can relax 2......so tht way u get more of the studying bit and enough relaxation for the week 2.........

But sometimes some guys like self studying 2......in case u wanna study on ur own join VMC........will give u enugh time.........but remember if u didnt utilize those weekdays......u wouldnt achieve what u want!!!!!.....

more effective for u if u think tht u want constant attention and dont want to waste time sitting at home and want to learn new things...then join BT and also join VMC test series if there are available!!!

i think u shud join vmc and take brilliant's bmat+yg file. work hard with firm determination u will surely crack the jee next year

U need to maintain focus-- work regularly.

So join BT. I hasten to add that I m frm NE and no idea abt the skill of either BT or VMC.
