Irrevelant topic, no matter what you may have heared. It is hard to compare IIT-B and IIT-K and IIT-D etc. I wouldnt differentiate between them - only thing that matters is what course you take, as that will verily decide ur future career
EDIT: err.. u want to know the best IIT or the IIT in which rank 1 is? if the latter, its IIT-K CS

but i think d label of d institution has become more important now a days..... people wll appreciate if someone has done his/her b.tech frm iit .... no matter wat d course is..... whether it is computer or ceramic....... dis is d education system in India..... i hope u r gettin me!!!

I think it is really difficult to compare the IITs. Every IIT is good in some respect or the other.

iit d and b being in best of locations r first choices of quite a few. and these get filled up earlier than others.
acc. to me iit d is the best.
