its a must for our country...........................
raising oil prices can only be controlled by introducing new sources
in the system.
may be the cpi-cpm will not approve it but our country's futur depends on it.If the deal not signed then country like australia will stop giving uranium to us and then it will be difficult to even opperate our existing nuclear plants

- US wants to ensure by this deal that we will never become a super power like China

-They along with their allies are blackmailing us by threatening that uranium will not be supplied  unless the deal is signed

- Us wants us to become a subordinate ally

- Forthcoming Iran war they want our involvement and support which they can manage by blackmailing us if we sign the deal

- Nuclear power is very expensive and it will be costlier than thermal power

-Dr.Manmohan Singh's credibilty is doubtful. For quite sometime he was an employ of world bank

I am against the deal in this present format.

Dr. Man Mohan sing is ready to give up his chair for the sake of this deal with U.S..
Surely there is something fishy. So I am against the deal.

india is now not as small or weak a country that can be tortured or blackmailed over.

it is the largest democracy in the world and the deal must be seen as a partnership b/w two biggest democracies on earth .thoug their are some weak links in the deal ,i agree , but where arn,t some minus pt.s attached to a  gud thing .so chill guys cum forward nd support it.

i m for the deal...it will solve the energy crisis to some extent...besides why should we waste our energy resources...we should tap our energy need withresources frm othr country as of now...thn when time comes we can rule the world by supplying uranium in times of shortage and make profit, somewhat like wat usa is doin nw(for u all in meghalaya thr is big deposit uranium wch the local tribes are not allowing to extract as of nw)...

and then india is no weak nation to be used by western nation...we openly carried the pokharan test with whole world watching....every1 went against us....but none dared to attack on us like thy did on iraq and now on iran may be...we were isolated but still we came out winner...thats why thr is this nuclear deal...it shows dat world 2dy accept as nclear power unlike 10 years back...

besides that will also help india in tackling ever expanding china....if it shakes hand with usa and allies....

india should go ahead with deal...lefts are just sticking to thr old idealogy of opposing watever involves usa...its hightime hy give up thr idealogy.....becos usa rules rite now...thy are kings...but for us to become kings we must shake hands with them and then show them what we really are capable,,,no point going in baad book of usa rite now

@ vickycoolboy

thr are always ups and down...the entie world is facing this crisis...so we being a part of it are experiencing it too...its wont be long b4 india gets back on track....and u can still see india did maintain a gdp growth rate as compared to other tis year....this economic crisis happens once in a while....thr is always a negative side to every positive.....evry1 was predicting of this crisis to happen...it happened....just thin on one note..though m beinf slight selfish,it happened now its good, had it happened after 4 years we would have been affected during campus placements...its ahppening with many gud insti that companies are not comin as thy came last year due to this crisis

one must always remember that 1 kg of enriched uranium provides electricity equivalent to around 10000 tonnes of electricity from coal ,besides coal produces pollution .....

Yes. full support because:

1) It gives us the licence to buy nuclear fuel from any global country(not only US, but Russia, france, etc)

2) It reduces our dependence on oil- just look at how the oil price dictated my the middle east, has so adversely affected our economy, that had been on a 9 per cent growth

  3) Remeber, it does not force us to buy fuel, so whats the harm in signing it??? If you get a licence to drive, would n't you take it?? it doesn't compell you to buy a vehicle or something...

Besides, nuclear reactors can work on thorium and other biproducts of fission itself... If nuclear energy was so expensive, why do you think US, France etc have so many Nuclear power plants??? They aren't fools like our LEFT in the parliament.. Infact, the BJP(Vajpayee, at least)  is also for Nuclear power, but are opposing only to topple the Govt.
