why can't CO4 exist even though the valency of carbon is 4

The valency of C is satisfied in CO4 but what abt valency of O??
Valency of O is 2. In CO4, each O can make only one bond with C. So the valency of O isnt satisfied and hence the compound cant exist.

NOW THE ONLY WAY TO EXIST IS THE DIAGRAM WHICH I POST BUT THEN DUE TO PEROXIDE LINKAGE THE BDE IS TOO LESS TO PERMIT FREE EXISTANCE
