my god! none of you said it was chlorine. but i hav been told that there is an exception and chlorine is more electronegative than F. i m confused......................

No dude electron gain enthalpy of chlorine is more than fluorine (magnitude)
you would have been confused between electronegativity and electron gain enthalpy
