I think the question is :

I = {1+x+ (x+x2)}/{(x+1) + x} dx

Now rationalize it :

[{1+x+ (x+x2)}/{(x+1) + x}].[{(x+1) - x}/{(x+1) - x}]

= (1+x)1/2 - x1/2 + x(1+x)1/2 - x3/2 + x1/2 + x3/2 - x(1+x)1/2

= (1+x)1/2

Hence I = (1+x)1/2 dx = (2/3)(1+x)3/2 + c
