the best way to remember named reactions is to draw parallels...
take for example aldol and cannizzaro,
#both of them are for carbonyl compounds and are base catalysed
#while aldol uses a dilute base, cannizarro uses a conc. base
#while aldol requires alpha hydrogen, cannizzarro needs absence of alpha hydrogen....
 
try this n the entre list of named reactions will get condensed to a couple of pages (mayb even 1 page if u get really good at connecting them)

i would advice you to make a small table with columns:
1)name of rxn
2)reactants
3)products
4)rxn conditions and catalyst
 
stick this table on your study table and revise this table whenever u forget anything about a rxn and before going for exams
 
all the information at one place will be helpful at exam time.

organic chemistry is not ratta type subject u must concentrate on concept,it always stabilises in ur mind.these all r very important reaction of organic.
For iit jee u think about mechanism.in my book these all r very nice u study it.
