f(X) + f(Y) = log ( 1+X / 2+X) + log ( 1+Y / 2+Y) = log  =  = L.H.S

f(x)=log1+x /2+x
f(y)=log(1+y/2+y)
f(x)+f(y) = log1+x/2+x + log(1+y/2+y)
= log ( 1+x/2+x * 1+y/2+y )
= log ( 1+ x+y+xy / 4+2x+2y+xy )
now f(x+y/1+xy) = log [ {1+( x+y/1+xy ) } / 2+ (x+y/1+xy)
simplifying it we get log ( 1+ x+y+xy / 4+2x+2y+xy )
which is equal to f(x) + f(y)
